Speakeasy Ireland was founded by Liam Kilmartin (Irish) and Gema Duran (Spanish), who are both teachers in Madrid. We offer a complete service for Spanish students wishing to stay with Irish families and attend Irish schools.

Host families are the most important aspect of student language immersion in another country. We work closely with our Irish families, supporting and assisting whenever needed. Prompt payments, and unlike many other providers we pay by the month. This means a larger financial return for families, when we remember students are not actually in Ireland for approximately 22 days in December & January. 2022/2023 it is 825,  and this will increase significantly for 2023/2024.
